Darker shades represent areas of relatively high Figure 002, and lighter shades show areas of low Figure 002, which probably indicates high crustal temperatures. The shades and Figure 002 contour lines are superimposed on a topography gradient map; dashed boundaries distinguish various tectonic provinces.
