SCHOOL OF RESEARCH AND TRAINING IN EARTHQUAKE ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY OF ROORKEE, ROORKEE U. P., India
Abstract
Six earthquakes with magnitudes 5 and more occurred approximately with the same focus in the Nepal-India border region on June 27 and 28, 1966. The structural response recorders or a set of seismoscopes installed at Bageshwar and Banbassa yielded records. The successive earthquake records have been super-imposed. The two separately identifiable peak accelerations, i.e., in most cases longitudinal and transverse components, recorded by each recorder have been determined.
